About Us
York International School is one of the finest International Schools in Sri Lanka having three branches located at Sapugaskanda, Wattala and Kadawatha. We accept students of all talents and pride ourselves on being culturally diverse welcoming students of all faiths, communities and cultures. We offer quality teaching and small classes which ensure a closer interaction between the teacher and students. Students are given the choice of doing either the Cambridge or the National curriculum and they have the benefit of a seamless education from Kindergarten to Grade 11.
The schools from their inception have provided its students with the best of facilities and are on a continuous path of improvements. As a school, we assure our parents that we will provide the utmost care in nurturing the students by striving to always seek ways and means to improve the standards and the facilities we offer. Current extra-curricular activities include and not limited to cricket, athletics, swimming, basketball, netball, badminton, table tennis and chess. All York International Schools have their own science laboratories, computer rooms and libraries.
